anton hecht

This is the web site for Anton Hecht the artist. I work across mediums and often in collaboration. So projects with orchestras and musicians, dancers and poetry, illustrators and animations. These works are made with community groups of all ages and the general public. The works often occur in public space. I look at ways of reworking the idea of professionalism and the amateur. I use games or what can be termed Ludic structures. The work has been termed at times the Epic in the Everyday.
